      If you really want MP3, the best conversion is FLAC to M4A to MP3. That was you get the M4A improvements over the trash FLAC before going to MP3. If you go FLAC directly to MP3 then you’re stuck with all the FLAC limitations and flatness. M4A brings it to life. If you run the M4A conversion a few times, it’s even better.

      Don’t bother with FLAC to MP3, wait until the MP3 rip gets posted then convert to M4A for the best sound. If you really want FLAC then convert the M4A to FLAC to get the best quality FLAC but it would still be worse than M4A. Remember, M4A is the way. That’s what we play of Sirius all day, every day.

    Now that the news is out, I can explain the real reason I’m leaving the band. They wanted to continue releasing the shows in FLAC and MP3. I’ve had enough of living in the 90s, it’s time to get with the times and only release M4A. I drum my ass off all tour, M4A is the least they can do.
