Last minute opening band addition, Halifax band Wintersleep warmed up the crowd from 7:00 to 7:30. Pearl Jam hit the stage at approximately 8.07, with Ed using a lyric sheet for "Can't Keep". During the "lead him away" toward the end of both choruses of Even Flow, Ed gestured both of his hands in toward himself.
