Let’s get those M4abe’s uploaded! Need to hear this show in the purest form possible. If any FLACs get uploaded, not to worry, I’ll convert to the better format and Spread the Jam.

Not these m4a idiots can’t they just be happy to get it in whatever format is posted

Abe joined the band because of his passion for M4A, Eddie has mentioned M4A countless times over the years. Spin, Spin, Spin the M4As.

Man it sucks we’re not getting bootlegs for these shows. I hope the rumors floating around about no more bootlegs going forward because of Abe isnt true

Abe Laboriel Jr. is not blocking or ending official Pearl Jam bootlegs.
• The Drummer Situation: Longtime Paul McCartney drummer Abe Laboriel Jr. sat in behind the kit for Pearl Jam during the Ohana Festival.
• Band Status: While Eddie Vedder initially clarified that Abe was just "sitting in" for the weekend and wasn't officially the permanent new drummer (noting Abe's long-standing commitment to Paul McCartney), band members like Mike McCready and Jeff Ament have since mentioned ongoing discussions or working with him.
• Bootlegs: There is no official statement or restriction stopping Pearl Jam bootlegs because of Abe Laboriel Jr. Official live bootlegs continue to be a staple of the band's catalog and fan culture.

The only change from previous years is the addition of Abe, clearly he is blocking the release. Or it’s Mccartney behind the scenes. Pretty disappointed with the band for letting this happen and not standing up for themselves. Super disappointing.

There is no truth to the rumor that Paul McCartney blocked Pearl Jam bootlegs due to his longtime drummer, Abe Laboriel Jr., playing with them.
The speculation stems from a series of recent events connecting the musicians:
• The Surprise Set: In September 2026, Abe Laboriel Jr. made headlines when he made a surprise appearance as the live drummer for Pearl Jam during their performance at the Ohana Festival. This was the band's first public performance since Matt Cameron's departure.
• The "On Loan" Status: During the show, Eddie Vedder explicitly thanked Paul McCartney for "allowing us to borrow him". Because Abe is still McCartney's primary touring drummer, the arrangement was presented as a temporary "fill-in" or collaborative guest spot rather than an official, permanent change of band membership.
• Bootleg Expectations: Because Pearl Jam has a famous, long-running Official Bootlegs program where they release professional audio of nearly every live concert they play, fans online immediately began discussing how excited they were for the Ohana Festival bootlegs to be released so they could hear Abe's heavy-hitting style on the mixes.
Any rumors about legal blockages or McCartney interfering with Pearl Jam's recordings are entirely internet chatter or a misunderstanding of the band's temporary "custody sharing" of the drummer. McCartney and Vedder have a long-standing, mutually respectful friendship, and the festival appearance happened with McCartney's full blessing

So explain why we dont have bootlegs when every other year we have? There is only one thing different. Abe. AI response all you want but the rumblings in the Mccartney community are coming true. Super disappointed in the band for this.

just because we don't have them yet doesnt mean were not getting them some times you just need to have patients

The whole thing is fucked. Mccartney community were hinting at this type of BS for months. Its all playing out exactly as they warned. Its ridculous. And every time a discussion gets going on the porch, Sea or Kat shut it down immediately. So many users banned in the last week and every one has posted legit proof from the hacked emails floating around.

why are all of you people even entertaining this guy who post these stupidities about blocking bootlegs. you are just fueling his boring useless life where he has nothing better to do then sit on these forums and trigger responses out of you guys. just ignore him and he will go away. the bootlegs the m4a, just stop fueling his ego by responding to him. hopefully it ends now and lets just enjoy the music whenever it comes out.
