Just decode to .wav and split the file for yourself with EAC, it's not atomic science :)
People who split these single files and repost are likely adding an extra lossy step in the lineage (m4a or mp3 or mp4 > WAV > MP3) so much better to do it yourself.
Split and tagged files.
