It's pretty quick and easy to convert FLAC/HD files to MP3 with Audacity or LAMEXP. The important thing is to never NOT identify that you've done so with the lossless recording, and ideally to simply use personally.
IE: Download the lossless files and make them into whatever format you want for your personal collection. Just don't proffer them as lossless if sharing as a downconverted MP3.
