Ed mentions drummer Matt Cameron being from the great Seattle band Soundgarden to much cheering, and that his former guitarist Kim Thayil is from Park Forest, and band and crowd applaud. Without prompting, the crowd sings "We got a thousand points of light For the homeless man we got a kinder, gentler, machine gun hand", making Ed smile before he took over singing. Prior to "Ledbetter", Jeff pulls on his shirt, talking to a guy in the front row that had on the rare "Dirty Frank" T-shirt, saying "nice shirt". Mike plays his "Ledbetter" solo sitting on the stage in front of his monitors.
